well, I have the Dewalt 18 volt grinder because I too have the set of tools.
The only problem is the battery life. It takes power to use it and the battery strength goes quick. You cannot beat it's usefulness. Actually, these are the hot items for stealing catalytic converters. There was a picture in paper of a guy caught in progress. Dewalt should have used it for their commercial .
Yes, buy it, but you still will need the corded one too. Once you have it , you will wonder how you did without. Here's Amazons site.

Yeah, I saw the amazon add, there is couple a little cheaper that I have found. Can't seem to pull the trigger on the cordless grinder for some reason.

I'm thinking a cordless grinder would be nice to have but as previously mentioned battery life. I love all my cordless tools but the batteries and their longevity and cost is ridiculous. I'm about ready to go back to my corded or air tools as I am sick and tired of having to buy these overpriced unique battery packs at the exorbitant price they get for them. I'd pay more for the tool for a more universal battery system.

So my vote on the grinder goes to the corded version. When I'm grinding I'm kind of heavy handed and I know the battery unit wouldn't last in that service.

I have mostly corded grinders but got an 18V Dewalt for a Christmas present.

It works good for small cutting jobs and is very handy when I need to cut or grind something in a pinch, but as previously mentioned it uses batteries up at a rapid pace.

For $150. you can get a good corded grinder and a bunch of cutting, grinding, and flap discs.

Not really worth the money that you will spend IMO.
