Bosch custom cutter

I know pics woukd help and I will post them asap. But here's a description of what it looks like It is a bench mount tool that has a horizontal work bed with a heavy duty. Vertical blade assembly. The blade edge is at a 45 and slides left and is ratchet actuated. What does this thing cut?

No the blade is a solid piece a quarter inch thick with a knife edge.
