I have one (DLR130k), works great. I picked it up on amazon about 2 months ago when they were $79.99.

Bought the DLR165K for $69.99 from cpotools.com a couple years ago. Works just great.

They have it for $99.99 now, but that's a refurb. Mine was new.

I bought a Hilti PD30? when I worked for an architecture firm a few years ago. Made doing existing building measurements / drawings very easy especially when we were trying to figure heights that weren't otherwise available. Now that I work for a contractor, I use it for rough calculations when doing site walk throughs for new projects. Another good use is figuring runs of wire for Cat5, coax, etc.
