I am thinking about getting this table saw. Anyone have experience with this saw? If I get this saw I will be mounting it in a rolling cabinet with fold down sides and outfeed table.

Table looks nice, but usually the right side of saws like those extend out to give you a wider cut between the blade and fence.. table doesn't look like it will allow the saws table to extend. As far as the saw itself.. I have no person experience.

I will build the cabinet so I can make wider cuts on the right. Is anyone using one of these saws?

The Dewalt rack&pinion geared portable TS is generally considered the best buy in this category, but I think that new Bosch looks excellent. (looks like it has some dust collection!)

Sorry no usage feedback.

Why would you buy the gts1031 and build a table/base for it to sit in instead of just getting the 4100-10 that has the gravity rise stand and bigger indeed and outfeed tables. Or just step up to a full size table saw

Good question on that. I have a full size table saw now. A cabinet like the one pictured above would fold up to about 2 1/2' square. When folded out it would give a greater right rip capacity as well as support on the left side. I can add T tracks to the fold out side tables and use it for a fence system as well as for various cutting jigs. I can also mount my router into that. It would also give me an outfeed table which the 4100-10 doesn't have. The 4100-10 is also almost $200 more. A cabinet like this would allow me to put my planer underneath the table saw and run boards through there. Essentially I could have 3 tools in one unit and save valuable space. My shop is only 10'x12'. I have cabinets/workbenches on each wall leaving me about 5 1/2' of space in the middle of the shop to put my table saw.

I own this saw. I also own a full table Craftsman table saw. I found myself needing a saw to take to projects since a full standing saw is a lug to get up into the truck.

Anywho, a friend of mine let me use his for a project I was doing away from the house and I was hooked immediately.

Easy to transport, smooth motor, reasonable dust collection.

After fondling the dewalt at HD for an hour or so I found myself coming back to the Bosch. It may have just been because I was familiar with the Bosch because I am sure the dewalt is also a great saw.

I immediately replaced the blade with a Diablo and can't say enough good things about this tool.

They may have fixed it by now but when the Bosch first came out there were a lot of people complaining about blade wobble.

I have one. I rarely used my big Delta table saw so I gave it away to my nephew. I’ve only used it a couple times and it works great for my VERY limited use of a table saw. VERY nice that it takes up so little space when not in use.

I have one but mounting it in a table seems like defeating the point if getting a job site saw.
