Thanks for the post.

I bought the camera, have not opened it yet as we have house guests.

Good reviews, and if it avoids one big teardown it pays for itself.

I am advantage so free shipping also helped.

In for an inspection cam. Looks like it takes AA batteries, so that's a plus. Thanks for saving me from buying into another platform!

Does anyone with a remotely recent automobile need a timing light? Last adjustable distributer was in my 1970 camaro Z-28.

Bought the camera. Needed a reason too. The price was the reason! Thanks!

Been wanting a camera since I missed out on one in a charity event raffle. That was 5 years ago...I tend to procrastinate. And because of GJ, it paid off!

Thanks Kapthook! I could have used one of these numerous times in the past. Had shipped to store for free pickup.
What stores can you have it shipped to?
Edit; I guess just Northern tool stores?
I'll bet something like this would be helpful instead of an inspection mirror like if you were lining a bracket up on a car somewhere where you couldn't see, and wanted to see if the hole was lined up to accept a bolt?

While looking at the inspection camera in this thread, I found another option in eBay that attaches to a mobile device or laptop: https://www.ebay.com/itm/382208891568.

Quite a few vendors are selling them, and I got an offer for under $10 from one of the vendors when I put it in my watch list.

Does anyone have experience with these low-cost inspection cameras? Reviews on Amazon for similar devices are all over the place.

I ordered this WiFi camera a couple years ago for $33 shipped from Amazon. It generally works well for the first minute or so, then the bandwidth of its network seems to get slow and the quality reduces making it hard to see detail.

i would be willing to try one that plugged in directly to my phone to avoid the WiFi issue.

I'm headed the other way. The last thing I want to hold in my hand these days is my phone. I get the convenience, as well as the fact that it helps justify the cost of the phone itself. I guess perhaps it's because I'm more office than field these days, but I'm tired of looking at my phone. In fact, I use it way too often as a half-assed flashlight.

Thanks for the inspection camera link, just picked one up!!! Was mulling the Milwaukee M12 one or the Harbor Freight one. This is so much better!!!
