Bosch L-BOXX-2 information

I have a Bosch Sander that did not come with a case, and because I consider this sander an "Investment" I want to make sure it is well taken care of. I have the Bosch 1250 DEVS sander and I wanted to know if it would fit inside a L-BOXX-2. The height of the sander is slightly less than 6" and the box height of the L-BOXX-2 is listed as 6", I am curious if this is an inside measurement or not? Any advise on this and does anyone have any experience with this box? Thanks so much!

Probably not. The handle has an indent in the lid that means it takes away interior space. Same with the 'honeycomb' on the inside of the lid for sturdiness.

The LBoxx-3 is what they sell the higher end RO sanders, that's what I would get.

Yea, I was kinda hoping to save myself about $25 and not go to the #3. Hmm I guess no such luck. I did see the handle on the review video, and that was a concern. I appreciate the confirmation!
