Bah! After going through pages of rigamarole to purchase these, including an "available in 29-31 days" notice, the final page reads "The items requested below are not in stock." They can't get it in stock, in 29-31 days??? They can't tell me that before entering reams of info? Game over. Maybe your luck better. And now the bastards have my CC#, which they keep without asking.

Fortunately you can remove your CC (at least, that's the premise): My Profile > About Me > Remove Payment Method.

WARNING: In simply responding to this advertised deal, Sears harvested my email address, and is now sending unwanted spam, which has NO OPT OUT link available. I just want people to be aware that if they try to do business with Sears on one of their bait-and-switch deals, they'e at risk for spamming, with no visible opt-out, which is amazingly arrogant in this day and age. Virtually every e-marketer gives you an opt-out link, these days.

I haven't bought a tool from sears for two years, and they just added another two to their sentence.

I find it hard to believe that Sears has no opt-out in their emails. If that is really true, report it to your ISP, and get them blocked. That'll get a response from them.

I'd been looking at that set of bits for years, and finally bought it when I saw it on sale at the counter for $12. Still haven't used it yet though. The low rake angle is probably awful in wood or metal, but would probably make an excellent bit for drilling in plastic. Still, it is nice to have a bit that can go through wood, and keep drilling into concrete.

The Bosch drill bits were part of a daily deal, and I ordered them earlier in the day. I've seen some of the best daily deals sold out for shipping by noon.
