Buy it!!!

I have one and never realised it could be so useful, I have saved hours because I have one. Uses include trimming door frames to fit hardwood flooring, trimming the boards, trimming floorboards, pipes etc. there is also a sanding attachment.

My only piece of advice would be to buy a selection of blades, both the semi circular and flat type. It means when you go to use it in anger you have the right blade for the job (wood, metal etc).

I have one and have only used a couple of times, but it sure is handy when you need it. I agree about getting a good selection of blades, and not the cheap ones.

I have one and highly recommend it, it's powerful and very handy. Don't know how I got by without it. Mine is about a year old and made in Switzerland. Buy it, you'll love all the uses and YES get some quality cutting blades, that's good advice!!

I like my $40 HF one so maybe my opinion isn't worth much but I got to use a friends Dewalt while we were doing some drywalling & really appreciated the no-tools blade release.
