What say you? Anyone have any comments on them, either positive or negative?

Looking for something for interior work, zipping out valve cover, oil pan, intake etc bolts...basically wanting to make short work of the tedious little fasteners when I can fit the gun in there.

Is there anything better for the same price?

It is very handy! I use it for interiors, inner wheel liners, misc around the house and garage. great control and no air hose.

I bought it at HFD last summer - it was just the impact for $18 not including the 10% military discount or local sales tax.

(some time ago I bought my wife her own 12v drill by Bosch which uses the same batteries and charger) then the local Lowe's had the 12v batteries on clearance for $12each and chargers for $17 so I bought a pair of extra batteries and a charger.

Bosch 18v tools are what I use in the way of battery powered tools and have been very happy with them.

Have used the same one for almost four years now with a hex to square adapter. Hasn't skipped a beat. I use it for every job you named basically. Only good for up to 10-12mm head bolts though. I prefer the ergonomics over any other brand impact driver or wrench.

I would look at the Milwaukee side as well. They have a nicer variety of 12v tools.

That PS41 is great, the rubber near the nose cone will come off eventually if you thrash it hard enough and it swells first a little from fluids. But I have run mine hard for 2-3 years, I got with the drill as well and I have drilled some impressive holes with the drill as well. They aren't the most powerful things out there but still pretty competitive power wise for the size and voltage.

The PS41 is a good small light-weight power tool that has been ultra reliable for the past 5 years. Great for small fasteners around the house or rusty bolts in the car. Today the leader is the M12 Fuel lineup until Bosch releases more brushless versions. Probably can get the older PS41 kit for a nice price

I don't have a Milwaukee Fuel 12V to compare, but otherwise the PS41 is the most powerful in its class. I really like how it is shorter than the PS40, and a little stronger too, but the light ***** on the PS41, whereas on the PS40 it was awesome.

i like it. Small and compact. Good power for it´s size. The LED light ring is a nice feature too.

They released a brushless version in Malaysia or something, it should be here shortly.

I've had both M12 Fuel and Bosch versions of the screwdriver and impact driver, I prefer the size of the Bosch (about 30-40% lighter and much shorter), but the Milwaukee has a better grip.

I prefer the Bosch versions myself, the M12 Fuel stuff is creeping in on 18v tool territory, I'd rather they make things lighter with brushless than extreme power at the expense of size/weight.

I have a close friend that raves about his 12V Bosch and always says there is nothing I can't do with the 12V, those things have lots of power :)

I want to pick up one myself. I have the ps32 and absolutely love it. best tool I've bought all year. Im kinda waiting for the brushless version of the PS41 to come out before I buy as the PS32 has worked for everything I've needed or used it for so far. I just use it to zip off screws on the engine under trays and stuff like that. I've had bigger drills but for now, these will do all I need. I'm just a diy guy, I'm not building fences or decks or putting up cabinets everyday so it works for me and the size is awesome for me. In the future I may pick up a 3/8s impact and 1/2 for bigger jobs, maybe mailwaukee but I really don't have much use for them at this point to warrant the expense. I have a small compressor and a 1/2 air impact for when I can't get stuff off with a ratchet so I'm good for the most part. Long story short, love the Bosch 12v (or 10.8v) line
