As far as small engines go, I use NGK in my Shindaiwa and Stihl stuff. My '72 snapper push mower gets champions. Why? I don't know. Just seems un-damned American to put anything else in it (No arguments over COO. Not serious, just being a smart ***.) Besides, the mower fouls them about once a season, so cheap stuff it is!

Polaris snowmobiles run great with NGKs.With NGK spark plugs find out the price of them. The Advanced Auto Parts stores in my area are cheaper for a box of them. There is one thing I see sometimes, those spark plug cleaners and cleaning spark plugs is not worth it.Most spark plugs are cheap and better off replacing them.

used Bosch platinum 4's in my T/A and they worked great not so much luck in any other vehicle though if you are putting it back into a stihl then use Bosch that is their factory plug always stick to what comes in them from the factory usually cheaper and easier that way

They seem to be used fairly often in Euro cars, i deal with plenty of them. Not a fan, they tend to be decent in some cases and **** in others. Don't rate them at all.

Seems like the later model cars are very picky/sensitive to plugs causing missfire and tripping codes.

Very true, had a few that ran terribly after putting new plugs in, in most cases they were Densos and putting a set of Bosch plugs in fixed the problem.

I alway use the standard NGK plugs, but the RAV4 requires the $6 iridiums!

You think that's expensive?

I regularly install plugs that cost twice that! In some cases in cars that run two plugs per cylinder! (Mercedes-Benz, Alfa-Romeo, etc.)
