My friend is looking for a beginner tool set and another friend linked this to me. Anyone have any experience with this?

for the price harbor freight cant touch it. its basically a stanley tool kit with bostitch name.

i figured up just the sockets are .75 cents each and everything else is free. you cant buy used for less than a dollar most places.

i dont need the kit.... but its tempting.

I bought my stanley kit that looks pretty close to that. If the ratchets are the same, they will drive you bonkers. They lockup and auto reverse all day long.

Just ordered them through Ebates for another 10% off.
Have no need really, but for the price it will become my haul around set.

Thanks for posting ravenzfusion.

Keep the sockets and sell the ratchets for 20 bucks. If I buy that's what I will do. Are the sockets stamped or etched or both? I see wrenches are listed as only sae. Bummer.

Makes sense . I wasn't sure if you meant it was a less durable finish.

But wait! Now imagine, your on the side of the road, at night, on the side of the road,, drop the socket in the engine bay. But its ok! It hit the ground. Rolls off the berm Lost in narnia.

I don't miss much either. But time is money. And working with order vehicles, they're always going to be covered in grime. I just wouldn't want the frustration of over looking that 3/16 shallow socket 1,000,000,000 times while to scoffs at me all the way. Lol
