Bostitch Combination Wrench Sets - As Low As $15.00

Wal-Mart is clearancing the Bostitch 10 pc, long pattern combination wrench sets (SAE or metric) for $15.00. I purchased the SAE set (with the anti-slip open ends) last night from the Mayfield Hts, OH Wal-Mart. The SAE set goes from 1/4" to 7/8". The Mayfield Hts, OH location had 3 more SAE and 2 more metric sets (10-19mm) after I picked up mine. The Bostitch wrench sets are made in China.

If your local Wal-Marts are out of stock, another option is Menards. The Bostitch sets are on sale until 10/24/15 for $19.99. You can select delivery or local pickup after 6 days. Both the SAE and metric sets are on sale.

Check before you buy. Some of these sets look fine, but I have seen a few where some of the smaller wrenches have chrome peel and/or the box ends did not have the proper angle.

I agree with retDAC. I purchased as metric set to see how they compare to the Dewalt set. They may look similar but the quality is very far apart.

I didn't see where they say what they are made of.

IIRC, the Dewalt versions are made in Taiwan; the Bostitch in China.

Bostitch 65-Piece Pass-Thru Socket Set (3/8, 1/2), BTMT72287 Says 69.97 on the web site.
I paid 40 dollars on clearance. Since I'm not a pro tool shaker, it'll work ok. Not sure about other walmarts.

Like "boomerangg22", I purchased this Bostitch pass-thru set from the Stow, OH Walmart this afternoon. There were 3 of these sets in the tool clearance aisle for $78.**. This is the normal price. I spoke with the department manager. He initially did not want to lower the price because he said it was a "seasonal item". I countered that this set has been in stock for the last 2 or 3 years. He initially wanted to give me the set for $65.00 and I said no thanks. His computer was not working. I told him that there was a member on an internet forum that I belonged to that bought this same set on clearance for $40.00. He came back with a working telxon gun and adjusted the price on all 3 sets to $40.00. I bought one of the sets.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the other 2 sets, I left a copy of my receipt below.

Forgot to mention that, unlike the combo wrenches, this kit is made in Taiwan.

they had i think 2 metric and one SAE set left in clearance in hardware- its an endcap which faces the back wall
