Bostitch Flooring Nailer Leaking Air

I bought an almost new Bostitch BTFP12569 flooring nailer from a guy who used it to put down some flooring in his store. It was in the original box, box and nailer look new and the nailer worked great. I'm using it to install 3-1/4" wide red oak T&G flooring. I've got about 450 sq. feet installed, but just tonight it started leaking air. Sounds like it's coming from around the black hammer face--the thing that you strike with the hammer. I am assuming it's an o-ring that's leaking.

Anyone disassemble and repair one of these before and can give me some tips?

no direct experience, but it could be an O ring, or another seal of some sort . repair kits look like $50 ish . probably worth opening up and looking at the guts
