Bostitch Model SB-1850BN not working

Hi, I have a Bostitch air nailer. Not used much but brad nails are hanging up in chamber. Took it apart and everything is O.K. inside. Looks like the brads( nails) will not slide in far enough to load and jam. They are Bostitch nails! I open chamber fuss with it and get a few nails to work then jamb up again. Do I have a bad set of nails? Thanks.

I located a rep for Bostich for my finish nailer gun. It appears that I am being told you do NOT store your gun with nails loaded in it. It tends to weaken the spring that holds the nails and feeds them into gun. I lubricated and installed a new spring and it is now working. Hope this helps!! Thanks.

That is an indication of an overloaded spring. I'd call that poor design.
