Bostitch N60 part N50088?

I was wondering if anyone came across a part number N50088 called a piston stop or bumper, for a fixed exhaust head of a Bostitch N60 air nailer? I looked high and low on the Internet and I couldn’t find anything. I took the air nailer apart and the piece was disintegrated, so I don’t even know what it looks like. Is this what they call planned obsolescence?

I’m guessing he’s talking about part #4. Very critical to the tool working correctly. I rebuilt a SN60, and that piece was 3d printed, a hair too small, and the recoil would would bump the innards loose on top.

Thanks for the responses. It seems to be an older Bostitch nailer, the head is all the same color, it’s called a fixed exhaust port. The only diagram I could find was from an old Sears site. You can see it’s number four but it seems to be different from the models that have the black exhaust port.

AhhHaa! I purchased a part from fix.com that looked like my part.The base was a bit larger. I sanded it down and put it all back together with all new O-rings. This thing has a lot of punch! Can’t wait to try it out! I called local service centers and no had the part.

I’m like an old dog with a bone, won’t let go til I’m finished! Hmm, that’s a double entendre, but you know what I mean!
