yes. change the pressure that the compressor puts out. more pressure= deeper driven nails. less pressure sinks the nails less.

air pressure is marginal at best for adjusting depth of drive. lots of factors come into play like wood hardness, knots, lenght of nail etc.
I think those bostitch guns are adjusted by grinding the driver shorter actually.
I have one

Sir, with all due respect, no one should rely on adjusting air pressure to adjust depth of drive. That would be the most unreliable and sporadic of all. I believe only Harbor Freight sells guns that do not have a depth adjuster. And your only option would be to try to adjust air pressure.

That what I thought.... that you had to change out the "driver". Was just checking to see if I was overlooking something easier.

I have an old N80SB. The nose piece on them is adjustable to set depth of drive. It has 2 small nylock nuts you have to loosen, and then you can adjust the nose piece and tighten the nuts.

There's about 10 different n80 models. And that's what works for my model. why don't you go top the bostitch servicenet site, and look up your gun & manual. Then you'll know more than you do now.
