Hello all,

New member here I have a bottle jack that I drain the oil out of and the part number is 218132. When I took the oil plug off a large spring ball bearing small spring and a small ball bearing came out. I was wondering if anyone had a diagram of how they went back in? I put it back together in the way it fell out but I was just wondering if it was correct. Thanks for any help

It sounds like you opened up a Valve versus the Drain plug, Traditionally Bottle jack plugs are strategically located on the reservoir at a height that allows you to fill them to the appropriate level at Rest on there Base.

I’m not sure what Model of Jack we are dealing with, but Valve make up “normally” consists of:

Plug
Large spring
Large Ball
Small Spring
Small Ball

Hello.
Thank you for the info, figured it would be a valve after taking things apart. Just didn't want to screw things up by putting it back together wrong
