I fabbed up a bottle jack axle cradle from scrap at work. I used a variant of the ones available from Bogert Manufacturing. I might put together a small set of extensions for it when there is a break in the weather....
Another option would be to use a spring perch and modify that to be accepted onto the jack ram.......
Just thought that this might give some folks an idea to make a bottle jack safer and more versatile......
