Saw a couple similar to that at Sears the other day. Good for a chuckle.

I'd get him a Robogrip and a $.99 bottle opener if it were me.

ive got the klein one from my teenage years at an electrical wholesaler, at the time it blew my mind. i had never seen anything like it.

the 'motel' bottle opener is still my favorite though, i dont even use any of my other openers i collected before i started buying these.
one on the deck and one in the kitchen... pure awesome

Brother has a pair of these. I nearly lost it when I saw him put it to use. It was one of those "that's sooo coool" moments

And these Swiss-type knives are pretty handy. And there never seems to be a shortage of them at golf tourneys, expos, etc. I keep one in all my vehicles and in pretty much every drawer around the house.

My wifes flies for FedEx - whenever she has a Japan layover she'll bring one or two of these home:

this is a picture off of Google so I guess you can buy them on line - the ones she brings back have bar names or beer company logos on them. If you like gadgets these are very cool.

I have four of these. One on my key ring, one in the glove box, one in the garage, and one in my den.

The tang is a bit short and needs some excessive pressure against the bottle, but it works and is very portable.

Bottle openers? What the hell do you need bottle openers for??:headscrat Up here we just use our hands!!:lol_hitti

Dang. I must be a girly man, because I've been known to use bottle openers on twist off tops every once in a while (can't imagine trying to pry the non twist off bottle caps with my hands...ouch).

Not really a tool, but looks awesome amongst your tools! $24.99

The opener is fitted with a magnetic back for easy placement right on your fridge, or comes with mounting screws for a more permanent spot on the wall of your 'rec' room, bar, garage, cottage or back deck. The gift box also includes two 341mL bottles of Steam Whistle Pilsner to enjoy once the opener is in place.

You guys do realize that you can open a beer with damn near annnnnnnnnnnnnnnything. A bottle opener is just a lever. A socket, a wrench, a knife, a phone, a shoe, a key, a rock, a sandal, a screwdriver, a lighter, a remote, a stick, ******* anything can be used to open a frosty...

Missing the point completely.
