Wife wanted to stop to browse at closet organizers and I stumbled upon a porter cable 20v max drill kit. ( open box mark down)

The store had it marked was 99$ now 75$ stating it was an open box. I open it up check all items, it all appears new no damage and all working. I told the hardware manager I would do 50$ on it and he agreed. After C.C. Discount it ended up to 47.50 plus tax and too many tools for my needs.

I also believe it was marked wrong as the 99$ porter cable kit only has the smaller 1.3 ah black batteries and this kit is 149$ with the 1.5 ah red batteries.

The cheaper kit is 129.99 regular price and was on sale for Black Friday at 99.99.

I bought the cheap kit on BF and had to exchange it because the charger failed. Other than that, I love the impact. The drill is good too, I just don't use it as much. I've got 1/4" socket adapters for the impact and it gets used almost daily.

Good to hear. I use my impact most often and am looking into the porter cable impact bare tool to complete this set. Going to compare it to the milwaukee and see if the milwaukee is worth the 2.5x the price to me before I let either or go.
