Ive been looking to buy a floor jack for awile now and was trying to decide whether I should buy a cheap chinese jack and use it until it breaks then buy another and repeat or just shell out some real money and buy a American made jack that will last my whole life. Figured since I'm only 20 I have plenty of time to let my investment pay off. Decided on the latter and once I found out about Milwaukee Hydraulics, I had my mind set on them. I like supporting companies who manufacture things in state.

Saved up my money for the last couple months and ordered the jack in early May. Fantastic customer service, very friendly. They were backordered 2 months so I got on the waiting list. I decided on the Model 20 (2-ton) which was $460 plus a $5 handling charge. For anyone looking to buy a Milwaukee jack, it is cheaper to order direct from them. I picked it up at the factory to save shipping charges. Just picked up my jack this morning...heres some pics

Heres the factory/office, its in a really old industrial park

The jack does not start pumping until the handle is this far down, will take some getting used to

There is no return spring on the handle, it has to be all the way up or down. A very simple design

Overall I really like the jack, it should hold up great based on other's reviews

Heres their website:

I wish I had that jack when I was 20! The last 20 years would have been a lot more fun! (Ok, maybe not a lot more fun but a little bit more.)

I have always been curious about their jack stands. There is not much info out there on them. I went with US Jack instead but I did give Milwaukee some consideration.

So about how high is the vertical lift? Based on what I assume to be a 17" tire in the background, I'd say it's a bit less than that?

Milwaukee doesn't make jack stands anymore. I was curious about them too and called about them and was told they are discontinued. Their bottle jacks aren't available anymore either but I think they said they were just re-badged US Jack ones?

I purchased a Model 20 about the same time as the original poster.

I use it several times a week, and it always does its job. No complaints from me.

How has the jack been? Are you still happy with the purchase?

No. I've lifted plenty of full size trucks onto jack stands with it, and it's always worked fine. I also use it to lift the rear of a Kwik-lift, and it's fine for that job as well.

Have you come across anything you couldn't lift that you wanted to?
