Good deal. I picked up a 3 cylinder,single stage Curtis Toledo that was made in 1988. I tore it down. New gaskets,valves. Would not trade it for the new ones.

Yeah the older stuff is built a lot better then the newer ones. This has been going for 30 years strong and still pumping air

So I'm wondering if you guys think there would be any benefit to porting and polishing in the head on the compressor where the air flows in from the filter and goes into the intercooler and aftercooler. All the parts are cast molded I just figured maybe it would help with air flow and velocity having a smooth radius In and out of those parts. Or would it not matter cause the size or the bore and stroke are what really make cfm.


I'm still working with rolair on figuring out which pump it is that I have it looks like the only way to tell is to pull the cast iron sleeve and measure the bore on the low and high side cause each one of their pumps has a larger bore/stroke from one another
