Bought an old Walker jack...need some help

I bought an old Walker jack, which I'm told is a 2 ton. There's no model number sticker on the pump and the plate that was riveted to the handle is gone. There are some stampings here and there on different parts of the jack, but other than that, I have no way of identifying what model I have. I think it might be an "882", but I'm not sure.

The guy I bought it from claimed it had a slight leak, but as it turned out, it leaks like a sieve, mostly around the smaller piston, but also around the larger one. I'm looking for a place who sells a rebuild kit or a place who can rebuild the pump. Anyone know a place?

Also, there is some serious wear at the handle shaft pivot hole in the lower left side of the frame (see pic). The right side isn't nearly as bad. Anyone know how this can be fixed? Thanks

The Walker jacks, and parts & service, were taken over by Lincoln in the late '80s/early '90s. The Lincoln brand has since been consolidated with Hein-Werner....which name is now owned by the Shinn Fu corporation. http://www.shinnfuamerica.com/ That being said, the Hein-Werner jacks are actually made in the U.S. again.

You might try the two places below:

If you just need seals, a local bearing distributor should be able to help you match them.

jabberwoki - If I can find a Hein-Werner WS or OS, I may decide to sell this one.

Homespun91 - Thanks for the links. I'll try giving them a call.

Anyone know how I can identify the model off this thing, being that it's missing the ID tag?

The walker I picked up had similar wear (not quite as bad) around the handle pivot. I had plans to bore out the handle pivot holes, and put a brass bushing in it. But after using it (long frame jack) in my garage a few times, I realized I needed a smaller jack. It developed a leak and stopped lifting, so I ended up selling it for about half of what I bought it for. Oh well, you live an learn.

Sorry to hear about that charle10. If I can't rebuild it or get it rebuilt for a reasonable price, I'll probably sell it. Unfortunately, the seller wasn't completely honest in his description of the jack and I wasn't really looking for a project. Like you say, live and learn :)
