bought house because garage had a pit

Hi from Seattle. I joined to gain some input on adding 8ft to the side of my garage to house the work bench standing area, thus keeping the current size for the 64 droptop and two wheeled items. Adding a 16 foot roll up door to replace the current slider.

It is currently 20ft wide and 24 long. I am would like to keep the left side pitch the same and extend the pitch on the right side. I have sketched it and aestetically it is pleasing. My question are about length of rafter run and roof support. I would say the pitch is 8/12 now
