I have so many wrenches at home from Matco and Snapon, which are probably better quality than Beta, I wont buy any wrenches. I was looking for unique stuff. I found a M5 - M12 maser heli-coil kit I may get.

So I just looked at my receipt. 21% sales tax. Eff that. Im not buying anything else.

So I actually found a better deal online and they will ship to my hotel address. I compared even with the tax to matco/so/mac tool prices and found I can't beat the price. So I ordered a scribe with a 4mm(!) shank, dead blow hammer 30mm dia, semi flush cut nippers, another pair of scissors I originally wanted, bent nose pliers that are normal length, 3MT tape measure (hard to find good only-metric tape in the US), steel toe shoes, and a plastic inspection mirror because sometimes I work on 20kva power supplies. Should be in by the end of this week seeing its only coming from Bologna. More pictures when it call comes in.

Hey guys-i put on a previous thread you can get Beta from their distributor in California--Procare USA,Just joined and looked on the "TOOLS" thread have now banged the Beta drum 3 times--better lay off-or claim some commission.

Is the numerical markings on the scissors used to measure bolt diameters ?

I think they're one of Beta's Electrician's scissors, in which case the numbered notches on the outsides of the blades are cutting edges - rather like a stepped cone drill bit; they're for knocking out, enlarging or de-burring the cable ports in outlet boxes and the like.

Those scissors are really neat-i bought a pair from the UK,they also do a great pair of scissors for Kevlar--best scissors i ever bought-great for cutting seat belts if you have to!!
