I picked up a set of full polish professional craftsman wrenches 7/16 through 1 5/16. The wrenches are in perfect condition. Im curious though as to what you guys think there worth? Since the wrenches are no longer made in USA I wanted to grab a USA set while they were still readily available. What would you pay?

I have owned several sets of the Craftsman polished wrenches. I was not impressed AT ALL. They are broached way too big. My 19mm is actually 19.35mm. I ended up swapping them out with product on the shelf which was very tight. But the majority of the newer product was bad IMO.

They look nice but unless you get a tightly broached set they aren't worth much to me. But most people don't research and evaluate as much as I do.

How can I check the wrenches? Take a tape the the open end and measure the gap?

Whatever someone would pay... If you bought them to sell them, put em up on eBay and do it. If you want to know what they sell for check the completed auctions, if you bought them to use them, just do that. I really don't get why these questions keep getting asked, they're wrenches they're not picasso's.

I used a digital caliper. I found my RP wrenches to be tighter and stronger. I did buy a set when they went on sale for $55 for the 1/4"-3/4" & 7mm-18mm but I exchanged almost every single one of them at the store. Those wrenches were overhyped IMO but you find not many people really know that, so they will pay for them. The larger set recently was on sale for $70 so you could get 1/4"-1-5/16" & 7mm-24mm for $120.
