Someone should "kill" the comment "you ****." It is very tasteless and accomplishes nothing! I like the way several people said the right thing which clearly is "you made a great deal."

Did you take the drawer pulls off? I think it toughens the look up a bit. The matte aluminum ones make those look cheap. Sweet deal!

I see you've got only 27 posts here, so you're still fairly new.

The entire 'You ****!' theme is meant in a joking / envious tone meant to convey our regret for not having gotten the deal before they did. It is a very friendly and welcoming gesture. Think of it as a light punch in the shoulder or "I wish I had gotten that" sort of moment.

It has grown to meme-level acceptance here and should never be taken as offensive or demeaning. It's a GOOD thing to have someone say it here.

We ain't killing the comment, "You ****". You've got to at least have 200 post before you can change the rules. And if he deserves a "you ****", he will receive a "you ****". But there is NO self "suckage". I think that one is cut in stone somewhere.

And to the OP, for $600..."YOU ****!!!!!!!!!!":thumbup:

$600 for all that? I don't know where everybody who's saying 'it's OK, but not all that' lives, but out here I'd call that pretty damn good!

(insert suckage line here)

First off, I see you have been a member here for all of about a year, ...and YOU are suggesting that Scotstern is "fairly new"?? :D Geez, I find that downright comical since the way I see it, Scotstern has been here a lot longer than you. :D Hell even I have been here WAY longer than you ...even though I don't have that many posts here. Oh, please understand that is not to imply that I too am a newbie to any of Ryan's forums as you will find I have over 4,500 posts on just one of his other forums alone!

I guess with regard to the "You ****" comment, ...although I probably would not be that vocal about it normally, I tend to agree with others that it is a vulgar statement. You are welcome to disagree with me however when you consider what that statement originally (-and still does) imply, I'm not so sure you would actually enjoying "sucking" what it is suggesting in front of each of us. Maybe I am wrong?? :headscrat

You may want to be around a bit more, lurk some, and understand the way we operate. This would prevent your making posts that are neither helpful nor significant.

Just so you know, it has been a long tradition to say "You ****" when a person makes a great score buying something. That's just the way we roll.

I had a sign in my office reading "****** harassment will not be tolerated, however, it will be graded". After a few years I was asked to remove it.
And to the OP, that's a nice setup. And you ****!

If a person has been here since 2009 actively reading and participating, then they would know why the entire 'you ****' meme exists, and certainly enough not to complain about it.

It's certainly not a big enough deal to get worked up over. Kick back, read some posts, offer some insight, go build something out in the garage. It's about enjoying yourself.

HF... they all have US GENERAL plates on them.

Sorry couldnt tell because the picture is too small for Cell users. Opening the image still makes it thumbnail size.

So the end box is what size? I've never seen HF with that configuration. 72" or 56"?

OP, if its not too much trouble could you post a full size pic so I can further envy your suckage?

To the OP, ...congrats to you on a nice purchase. I think you did well. I am sure it brings a smile to your face as you walk into the garage. If so, that is money well spent in my view.

Thank you Dan. I believe if you go click on my website (linked below) you can see what we build in the garage each day. And, in the evenings you will generally find me working with my teenage son on his 'hot rod' (pictured below). I definitely am enjoying life. Thanks again for your perspective!!
