Found these spring hose clamp pliers this morning. Never heard of Bowes tools. They are marked forged in USA. Any info?

It is possible that they were made by Knapp and Bowles Saw Company from Bridgeport Connecticut they also made some tools there is very little about them online as they have been gone for a long time. I came across a saw they had made at a yard sale one time and did some research afterwards I didn’t buy the saw because it was expensive but probably the same company I would guess.

I was thinking... perhaps Bowes seal-fast Corp. out of Indianapolis, Indiana just something that the op might want to research.
Thanks Woody! It looks like Bowes currently sells automotive supply particularly tire patching items. They do sell hose and hose clamps so it’s likely they carried this tool back when spring clamps were routinely reused. I think the mystery is solved.
I’m not sure if these pliers are vintage or not but being forged in the us leads me to believe they are...
