Any suggestions on battery storage boxes?

I have resorted to removing batteries from my devices that sit for a while. I would like to have some small boxes to hold just a few batteries to keep near the device.

Also would like a large box to hold a full set of batteries that I can take with me when I am away from home (I am away up to 3 months at a time).

I would think it best if the boxes had a good seal to keep moisture out. Perhaps put a small dessicant bag inside.

Yeah, that amazon link was giving me fits. I finally just linked their website.
No worries. I have... or had that battery container. I bought it off Amazon years ago. My nephew "permanently borrowed" it. I now ONLY USE rechargeable Lithium batteries that I store in a special "soft sided" fireproof bag. I keep various storage boxes inside that bag.

I have some nice cheap plastic boxes for 4 AA or AAA batteries, but it didn’t jump out at me.

These guys have different sizes too

Here is a heavy weight, and more expensive item for individual devices, tho some 3 up would be nicer.

Never heard of it before. But that's a good name.

Certainly better than battery mommy. You know why? Because I'd instantly think of Peg Bundy and a device that she isn't holding in this picture. There were plenty of battery jokes in that show.

I keep all mine, along with a charge measuring device in a simple plastic box like you would use to keep shoes in. Walmart, $1.28. I've never liked the storage "solutions" that have specific sized spots for specific sized batteries because what do you do if you have an excess of a certain size?

My old man wanted a battery daddy... it's such a piece of ****. Super light weight ultra cheap plastic but... he loved the thing. At 80 I think it gave him something to do... like sorting his pills.

I keep batteries sorted by size in ziplocks and then all the zips in a $5 plastic toolbox on a shelf in the shop. Been doing that at least a decade haven't pulled out a dead one yet.

I used a left over Schaller bin for putting mine in. I always wrap any loose 9 volts with a piece of masking tape to prevent them from shorting out against the other in the pin. As a plus the bin fits perfectly in a door tray off one of the ignition parts cabinets I have on the wall above the workbench.

I absolutely love the Storacell products. I have them in several tool bags, junk drawers and work boxes. It’s a lot easier to manage the sizes I actually need instead of one big box. I put the batteries in positive contact up, and in the field when I replace them I put the deads back in positive side down.

They do make a mixed holder but I don’t have one.

With young kids in the house I would have gone broke and felt horrible going through all those batteries. Made the switch to Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries and have been very happy. Between the smoke alarms, kids toys, remotes, wife's toys...I'm gonna guess we have 30-40 floating around the house.

Ohh...and f#ck duracell.
