Picked up this old Tecomaster toolbox and socket set from eBay - scored it for $20 as my first project. I'd love to eventually buy and old Toyota FJ45 and restore that, but I figured I should prove I can master something a touch smaller first. This set has a mashup of other quality but rusted sockets including some Husky, Craftsman, and even an old Snap-On.
I've got the sockets soaking in evaporust already and they look to be turning out great. My question though is on the cool paper sheet lining the inside. I gave it some heat to see if the glue would let me pull it off but no luck. Anyone with some tricks?
I figured this would be useless without pics so here goes a try:
