Box store aluminum jacks - how do they compare?

I'm in the market for a 2-2.5 ton aluminum jack. Initially I was planning on a Pittsburgh HF jack, but then I noticed some good deals on Husky, Duralast, Autocraft, and Big Red. All China made, but has anyone done any comparisons or had experience with any of these other brands?


Please no bashing unless it's specific to one of these.

It is likely they all came out of the same factory in China with very little differences. They all have lesser quality seals compared to top quality jacks.

The advice I got from Hiball is classic ... KISS ! Stay away from ones with "quick lift" or other "whiz bang" features.

Look close ate each. Use a scale/tape measure and measure the thickness of the metal, width of the wheels and "stance". Look for plastic parts.
