I really like this kit (mostly the idea of the bag and tool roll pre-filled with tools) but damn does it seem overpriced. Is this a case of paying for the convenience of a one stop shopping experience or am I not doing the quick math in my head right?

What do you guys think of this?

Neat idea, but no way it’s worth nearly a grand.

Wow cannot see $770 worth of value here. Never really understood the Boxo USA thing- At least Teng and Sonic are fairly upfront with their Taiwan manufacture- Boxo seems to pretend that everything is USA based- you have to really drill down to find out Taiwan is COO. Seems like you could spend far less for Tekton or GW stuff for similar if not superior quality.

Yes, each page uses “Boxo USA” at least 40 times. You’d swear they were US made. Seems way overpriced. I think Teng or Tekton would be a much better buy.

Tekton, Capri, Icon or Gearwrench yes- Teng is somewhat pricey and their main selling feature is the fitted drawer inserts. I think a US General cabinet loaded with Tekton is about half the price of a similar Teng setup. The Sonic stuff is the same idea but even a bit pricier. As much as I like the look of the stain finish sockets- never saw a single piece of Teng or Sonic in any mechanics box ever.
