Bridgeports are a dime a dozen here in the midwest. You can get a nicer one with 2-axis DRO for that price and they often come with some tooling.

I think you should be glad you are not. That looks and sounds a lot like a money pit to me. No tooling, and an adapted head. It's a better head, yes, but the mill's weakness is how the head is attached. The only thing that one has going for it is it's a great size for a small shop with limited space.
