Names Ben

Lurked a while, thought id share a bit.

I grew up spoiled with a big shop area on the family farm. Turning wrenches in parking lots and apartments for the last decade left me longing for a work area again. Years of working finally led me here.

As any normal project starts off I thought I would finish out my garage. Then I found out I could see day light coming through my exterior wall and feel breezes coming in. Discovered it wasn't insulated, my kitchen above it was always cold in that corner so I thought id address it.

The townhouse

Still have lots of little things to tidy up but its a start for now.

The end goal is a functioning metal fab area that supports my general tinkering from bikes to cars.

Nice start! So you didn't do a full tear down of the wall to insulate it? I'm in the same predicament, and trying to get ideas.
