my past experience with Griots water based epoxy is that brake fluid will not lift it up even if it has been left on for days. In my new garage, I have the rustoleum solvent based epoxy and I don't think that brake fluid will hurt it.

Thanks bjo......while replacing a slave cylinder the other day I got some on the floor...used Simple Green to clean it up right away but I've seen the ravages of Dot 4 on engine bay paint jobs.......

the GG epoxy is ok, it goes on pretty easy and has little fumes. It was pretty durable since I did alot of work with jacks/jackstands. It lifted up in my old garage due to poor prep work on my part. I know better now thanks to this forum.
