I just ordered a stainless brake line kit for my Wrangler from Classic Tube. It's probably on my doorstep this very moment, so I cannot comment on the quality, but everywhere I've read, people say they're the best.

http://www.classictube.com/catalogs...y=&drive=&box=&engine=&ymm_cat=Brake Line Kit

Their biggest competitor is "Inline Tube"
https://www.inlinetube.com/

In the case of my Wrangler, access to the brake lines is easy, so a mandrel bent kit made sense for me, and since I plan to keep the vehicle, the extra few bucks for stainless also made sense.

I don't know how easy routing the brake lines in your vehicle are, but if they're difficult, making your own in nickel/copper might be easier.

I used Inline Tube for my 1992 F150 and they were exactly like the factory, easy to install and accurate.

Make your own. Prebent lines can be a real pain in the *** to install depending on how they are ran

I never did it before, but I made all the lines for my 95 f350. Bought a cheap double flare kit from Napa and a HF tubing bender. It's really not hard, and probably a lot cheaper. This was the first line I ever made, new vs old. I used a can or a jar to make the circles.

I would buy the tools needed to do the job. Depending on what all you need and when shipping is included (if they'll ship that is), a few nice tools may actually be cheaper in the long run.

Plus, you're in Canada. You'll most likely be doing the job again on something else.

My opinion is to just save the money and make the line yourself. If you go with NiCopp line (I love that stuff), then you can even bend it by hand without a bending tool. It's super easy. It's also easy to flare with a double flaring tool.

I would just make them myself, but I already have all the tooling. If you decide to get a pre-bent complete kit, the dealerships sell them and they are pretty reasonable. Other wise there are a ****-ton of company's that make them in various types of materials.

Check with GM first, if this is a common problem, (IE should have been a recall, like the pickups), they will probably have a cheap line kit available. The coated line kits for the pickups are cheaper than you can make them yourself, if you put any value on your time at all.

Wow great job! It looks factory made. How's it working out especially using the NAPA flare kit.

Thanks guys, for the replies. Any further suggestions or opinions on the Cal Van inline flaring kit?
twarren..

The best brake flare tool is the Eastwood 25304. Not cheap, but it works well.

The Cal Van kit is pretty good, but some people have had issues with issues with it
.

This style has been used a lot in EU.

Also from Eastwood 31244

And have other have said, use NiCopp line. SO MUCH EASIER TO BEND AND FLAIR. It should last longer than steel.
