Bought this old home made brake to try to bend some heavier stock. My other little brake would do up to 16 gauge in small sizes but it went downhill in capacity in a hurry. I'm hoping this one should be able to do some 1/8" up around the 12" wide range. Capacity is 24" with a 1/2" top plate sitting on top of an I beam. I think it weighs about 150lbs. One nut on the bottom of the vise screw was missing so I welded a new nut on. Now for a bunch of elbow grease to clean it up, a couple coats of paint, and some actual grease when it's done.
