I have a 2000 3500ls p/u. My driver side brake/turn signal does'nt work. I changed the light fixture ( this is a utility bed that I put on last year). I checked the wiring & it seems ok. Is there a fuse for this?
little help please!

Yes there is a fuse, but if it was blown then the passenger side wouldn't work either. Sounds like a bad connection.

Check the turn signal switch and the 4 way safety blinker switch. All those wires go through that switch and I have had them go bad on other vehicles. Some of those might even be body computer controlled if so that creates a whole different kind of problem. Check for computer codes before you spend a lot more time trouble shooting as they should show if it's computer related.

Check to see if you have 12 volts going to the light socket. Also make sure you have a good ground. If there is no voltage at the light then you need to work backwards from there to see where you loose it.
