You want to be a brake tech? As a *retired* (career change due to accident) mechanic, I like brakes but doing brakes only wouldn't pay the bills... And it would get old quick!

For tools, you would need a couple of things for drum springs and adjusters, I think I have 4pc from SnapOn for that, and otherwise just standard mechanics tools. Metric and standard sockets, wrenches, and flare nuts.

I'd say an education...if you don't know what tools you need, I don't want you working on anyones brakes.
