Branded Leather, NYC made Motorcycle jackets.
I had a thrift store leather jacket when I was in high school, I bought it when I was alot smaller, and when I grew out of it I looked around for another one with not much success. My uncle liked the Schott jackets but I wasn't impressed. Finally in 1999 I found these guys - http://www.800branded.com/
I've had this jacket for almost 20 years now. It's the heaviest leather I've ever seen in a jacket. I was 19 when I walked into the factory. The clerk measured me up and a week later I had a custom made jacket for half the price of the Schott and nearly twice the weight !
Last week I brought it in to have the zippers replaced. At the time I got the cheaper aluminum ones and they eventually wore out. Im not kidding when I say I wore this jacket nearly every day for 15 years ! I stopped wearing it a few years ago, but the leather still looks almost brand new and I've never even oiled it. I HIGHLY recommend this companies products ! Their customer service is spectacular. They really do back up everything they sell. The bronze zippers are lifetime guaranteed for example, but replacing the cheaper ones was only 25 bucks ! I can't say enough good stuff about this company and I know anybody who gives them business will be happy with the end result.
