Snap-On, Matco, MAC, Cornwell, Waterloo, Kennedy, Craftsman...

Start with budget (couple hundred bucks, or $20K?) and work from there.

Depends on your definition of sturdy. Is this going to be abox your moving job to job or is it going to sit in one spot? As far as sturdy goes I would say in no particular orde Snap-on Mac or Matco. they are in my experience the most heavy duty out there

They're just as good. Ford vs Chevy.

Mac are good, too. But I'd pick Snappy or Matco for top billing.

Not seen a Britool box in the metal. Most of the UK garages I know use Snap On.
You do see some Beta, Sealey and Teng but Snap On have probably 50 per cent of the market.

I don't think Matco do, but MAC have trucks in the UK. Try:

Mac Tools Europe
Stanley Europe Logistics Centre
Gowerton Road
Brackmills Industrial Estate
Northampton NN4 7BW
Phone: +44(0)1604 827003
Fax: +44 (0)1604 661654
e-mail: [email protected]

for a local dealer.

The one I've seen, an 11 drawer roller, was no better than Clarke HD Plus from Machine Mart, for nearly £100 more.
