Brass, Brass, and more Brass Tools

Over the past few weeks I have discovered Brass tools.

The most rare are the cement finishing tools, a little work on these wood handles and these beauties will display very well

Several brass spanner wrenches

And Brass hammers

And how about a sprayer

I have quite a few concrete finishing tools at the shop , I was under the impression they were bronze, not totally brass, am I mistaken?

Pretty, just make sure that you don't grab a beryllium copper one like the hammer and GRIND the mushroom head off of it. The beryllium is toxic.

On that note, I see several beryllium bronze tools in that mix.

A lot of them are used in explosive atmospheres where a spark could cause an explosion. Probably not the cement tools though...

Was just thinking the same thing about the beryllium tools. bad juju if you grind on them.
