so today I called the phone number on Snap-On's web site to inquire abut replacement drawer slides and top box lid pistons. I bought the box new 20 years ago and a few slides have broken and the main lower drawer has none at all. (Nasty incident with a snow plow and a sloped shop floor)

Well, they answered the phone right off the bat and a very easy conversation later I was informed they would be sending me 8 new slides and the lower bearing glides as well as a new pair of shock pistons for free. No shipping, no return of the old ones before they ship them to me or any hoops to jump through. I had even offered up the original paperwork from when I bought it in case they wanted to see it.

 So here's a big thumbs up to the big guys! I just wish I knew they would do this a decade ago when I ripped the drawer out of the tool box!

I had some Bluepoint cutters and pliers that had seen better days (not abused) and weren't up to snuff. SO sent replacements out straight away. Smooth as cream. This is why people pay crazy prices for SO.

They should cover it, I was pleased at just how nice it was to deal with them. Back in the day when I broke the main drawer, I was quoted a good chunk of cash by the tool guy to replace them. I remember it was enough that I said no.
