I'm sure I am in the wrong section, if so please move. None the less the wife wants a bread box, I know there are a lot of wood workers here so I come to you for help. I have searched and looked to come up short on plans. She wants something simple. Anyone have an plans they could share with me? Again I am sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.

No need to have an elaborate wood shop. for something simple like a basic box you can generally adapt the plans to use whatever joinery method you are comfortable with.

Rather than edge-joining boards to make a wider panel, consider using tongue and groove lumber. You can usually buy wider panels that are already glued up and sanded at a home centre or lumberyard.

YOu can make simple joints with glue and screws. Countersink the screws and plug them with dowels
