breaker question

This may seem simple to some of you. I have a dedicated breaker to my air compressor. It is wired for 240 volts. There are two 30 amp breakers tied together for this. So is that a 30 amp breaker or 60 amp?

It's a 30 Amp. The number on it is the amps it is. You don't add the two together.

It's 30A @ 240V.
Something like a 30A/120V travel trailer circuit is 30A @ 120V.

They are BOTH "30 amp" circuits.
Confusing enough?
