Breaking Ground for Slab - Lift Question

Guys,

We're breaking ground on a 48x60 retirement garage-mahal very soon. The plan is to install two lifts - one four post, and one two-post. The intended purpose is going to be auto hobby maintenance and restoration.

The builder has asked for information about the lift models so he can run electrical in the slab. However, we haven't picked out the exact models yet. Is there a rule of thumb or advice in this regard? Should we run it in the floor, what are the general elec. requirements, etc. Got my eye on Made in USA Mohawk, but what other models should we be thinking about? Location is central Texas. Ceiling is 18' tall, so running electrical through the floor will probably look nicer.

Thanks, experts!
Mike

One issue on the floor electrical is you need to be damn sure of where the lift will be. And it's a done deal once laid in the concrete. I lean more for the power drop from the ceiling for the two post. Is the four post going to be movable?

X2 on the ceiling drop for the 2 post. If you're going to run power in the floor, you better decide on the exact lift model now so you know specs.

I printed the manual from the lift I'm planning to buy so I could plan my layout ahead of time.
