No... they didn't... they did a great job mounting the tires, but didn't listen to him when he said to torque the lugs to 85 ft/lbs.

I basically let him use my garage tools as he doesn't have any.... he couldn't break the lug loose w/ his generic tire iron thing that came w/ the car.

WOW, I would go back to that shop and raise hell if they didnt do something simple I specificly asked for, especialy if it was dealing with something as expencive as HRE wheels

I blew up a Craftsman 1/2" dr impact swivel adapter. Had my Timax cranked up to 120PSI
to remove a set of shocks on a Freightliner, and it gave out at the pin.

I broke a floor jack trying to lift a chevy c10. The temp was COLD, and the fluid just shot out of the jack. perhaps it was undersized even for a light truck, but I've used it on the truck before.

The one that annoyed me (because it broke off and hit me in the head), was using a slip wrench plyers above my head, and putting my full 150 lbs into.

The funniest one I ever saw was two twohunded pound men, standing on a bar slipped over a craftsman wrench. I sorta feel sorry for sears, because they took it back and got another one....lol. (400 lbs, jumping on a lever...ouch).

Craftsman No 3 screw extractor. And a handful of drill bits, not busted but trashed. Trying to remove a busted manifold mounting bolt from a K03 Turbo (VW/Audi). And I wasted about 2 hours over two days trying to get it out. And that's not counting the trip to Lowes for a 10-pack of drill bits. After the extractor broke off inside the bolt hole, I got an old friend with a milling machine to bailed me out. It took him about 15 minutes, and that included finding the right size tool and figuring out how to mount and square up the irregular shaped turbo on his table.

I guess there is something to that "right tool" thing. Experience seems to help a little too.

(Thanks again Bob!)
