kind of off topic but i was wanting to use a brick mold concrete form to do a large(length) retaining wall. i used retaining block on the front of my house but after figuring up the large amount of blocks it would take to do the rear im looking into alternatives. now heres the catch. i cant get a concrete truck to the backyard without tearing up a neighbors yard and i dont think they can boom it that far. basically im wanting to do the retaining wall in sections and pour each seperately mixing the concrete myself. any suggestins on tying the sections together. i was going to step the edge when formed and leave rebar tie-ins for the next section. also any leads on used forms in indiana area. thanks for any input.

How far would they have to pump the concrete? I've seen pumps pump concrete quite a ways. Will be more $$, but will be a heck of a lot easier/better outcome than mixing by hand.

Not to mention RR ties will eventually rot, even pressure treated will eventually rot, nothing like having to redo a large retaining wall 20 years later, after more improvements have been made. Other options may cost more, but well worth the investment.
