Anyone done brick veneer on the interior of a garage? I tried a search and came up blank, something like this but use your imagination and picture it in a garage setting:bounce:

If it's going to be a garage for show, go for it - it looks great. If it will be a garage for work, that brick and mortar will attract all sorts of dust and grime and be a real pain to keep clean looking.

Congrats on your first place!

was looking at the brickit system:thumbup: ...looks like it may be out of the budget, haha

Here's something that you might consider. It's less expensive.

I've used this stuff for set building. Built my nephew a dungeon in his dad's garage with stone walls for Halloween. It isn't the toughest stuff in the world. Some companies will make it out of fiberglass. All you need is a good scenic painter.

If you are only using your garage for light work and you don't need the storage space on the wall, then I say go for it. But, if you need all of the storage space you can get like I do, then it probably isn't a good idea. The back wall of my garage is brick, and while I think it looks nice, I will eventually be covering it with cabinets because I need the storage (for tools of course).
