My mill has been in storage for over 10 years and i dont remember what i used on it were it has zerts. Is it just grease or something else? what can a guy use on it were it is rust staind on bear metal?

Vactra #2 with an oil gun for the ways. You can make an oil gun by modifying a grease gun. DO NOT use grease under any circumstances! It will bind the machine up tight and you'll have to disassemble it to get all the grease out.

#1 spindle oil in the quill oil cup.

Lubriplate #105 for the back gears.

Good lubrication is fairly critical to its proper operation, do not cut corners.
